BRITTNEY NYROSE

I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.  Growing up on the Prairies, people often wonder how I can possibly be a professional wakesurfer.  I was fortunate enough to have a cabin on a lake during my childhood where I learned how to kneeboard, waterski, wakeboard and wakesurf.  After trying wakesurfing for the first time, I was immediately hooked.  In 2011, I decided to take my riding to the next level and entered a wakesurf competition.  It was one of the best decisions of my life and I have never looked back.  I was the first Albertan, and one of the first Canadians to compete in wakesurfing and feel honoured to be a pioneer in this young and growing sport.
